At nighttime on the road nearby, the Whisperers attack the wagon, suffering heavy casualties, but killing Oscar and destroying the wagon and sound system. The Whisperers turn the horde back towards the undefended hospital, causing Daryl to lead his group into the horde to assassinate the Whisperers one by one. As Lydia begins turning the horde again, Beta starts to go after her, only to confronted by Negan. As Beta attempts to kill Negan, he is stabbed through both eyes by Daryl and then devoured by the walkers. With the Whisperers dead, Carol and Lydia successfully lead the horde off of a cliff, ending its threat forever.

Then adding Negan in, who is trying to comfort her but is also the person who killed her mother, made it all the more complicated. Lydia threw some truth tea at Negan this episode and we kind of love her for that. Mentioning that everyone there wanted him dead, including her, stung a little bit for Negan.
They eventually realised that Princess was stalling. She apologised and tried to explain and Eugene stood up for her as he knew how she felt. They made it to the garage and were disappointed to find the transport was a selection of bicycles. Eugene looked on the bright side as cycles would be quicker than walking. Ezekiel told Yumiko that Princess had come through and she offered for her to join them on their mission. Princess was delighted.

È strano scrivere questa recensione di The Walking Dead 10x15, poiché siamo costretti a trattare l'episodio come un finale di stagione anche se non lo è: come da tradizione, la decima annata della serie zombie prevedeva sedici episodi, ma come spiegato dalla showrunner Angela Kang non è stato possibile completare la post-produzione del finale di stagione prima che l'intera industria audiovisiva fosse messa in ginocchio dalla situazione globale attuale (nello specifico, il rendering degli effetti speciali non era fattibile al di fuori degli appositi uffici). Il sedicesimo episodio è così rimandato a data da destinarsi, ed è ignoto il futuro immediato dello show poiché anche l'undicesima stagione, le cui riprese dovrebbero iniziare a luglio per rispettare la scaletta classica, rischia di subire a sua volta slittamenti. Eccoci quindi al cospetto di quello che non è un finale di stagione ma lo è diventato suo malgrado, lasciandoci nell'incertezza in attesa dello scontro definitivo tra i nostri eroi e i Sussurratori, una battaglia resa più complicata e intrigante dagli eventi degli episodi scorsi.
Arriviamo alla fine della recensione di The Walking Dead 10x15 e con essa, per certi versi, alla fine della decima stagione, dato che per cause di forza maggiore il vero finale andrà in onda in un secondo momento, come episodio speciale. La decima annata finisce quindi un po' sottotono, lasciando le cose in sospeso in attesa di un probabile evento epocale che rimescolerà ancora una volta le carte.
